Job Overview:
We seek a dynamic and experienced professional to fill the role of Site Deputy Manager for Operation and Maintenance at Benban Solar Park, a famous mega-scale PV project located in Aswan- Egypt. As a Site Deputy Manager, the candidate will play a main role in the functioning of our solar power plants, overseeing a team of dedicated professionals and collaborating with stakeholders to drive operational excellence. This pivotal role combines leadership, innovation, and technical expertise to navigate the complexities of maintaining and optimizing the O&M PV project.
⁃ Responsibilities:
1) Operations Oversight:
– Direct and oversee daily operations of the PV project, ensuring seamless functionality.
– Implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency and performance.
2) Maintenance Management:
– Develop, plan, and execute comprehensive maintenance programs.
– Collaborate with maintenance teams to optimize equipment performance.
3) Team Leadership:
– Lead a multidisciplinary team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
– Provide mentorship and guidance for professional growth.
4) Performance Monitoring:
– Establish and maintain monitoring systems for real-time project performance.
– Utilize data analytics to identify trends, inefficiencies, and improvement areas.
5) Reporting:
– Generate detailed reports on project status, performance metrics, and key performance indicators.
– Present findings to senior management and stakeholders.
6) Problem Resolution:
– Proactively address and resolve technical issues, minimizing project downtime.
– Develop and implement contingency plans to mitigate potential disruptions.
7) Compliance and Quality Assurance:
– Ensure strict compliance with regulatory standards, with a strong emphasis on Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) practices.
– Implement and improve best practices to uphold project integrity.
8) HSE Integration:
– Integrate and enforce HSE policies and procedures throughout project operations.
– Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments, implementing corrective actions as needed.
9) Budget Management:
– Assist in the creation and management of project budgets.
– Identify cost-saving measures while maintaining project quality.
10) Stakeholder Engagement:
– Interface with internal and external stakeholders, fostering positive relationships and ensuring alignment with project goals.
– Collaborate with government authorities, regulatory bodies, and local communities as necessary.
· Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (engineering, energy management, etc.).
Experience: Minimum 8 years in PV project management, specifically in the operation and maintenance phase with a focus on HSE.
