Solar System Commissioning

Technical assistance during the Commissioning and Quality Control phase of Photovoltaic Projects is essential to achieve safe and efficient energization and power generation of the PV Plant. As well as to minimize the period between energization and the start of operation of the PV plant.

The commissioning work consists of inspections and verifications on the main systems both in the phase prior to the energization (Cold Commissioning) and in the subsequent phase with the objective that the generation reaches the performance of the PV plant as soon as possible (Hot Commissioning).

The solar commissioning process typically involves the following steps:

– Pre-commissioning: This is the preparation phase before the actual commissioning takes place. It includes checking the design documents, permits, contracts, warranties and manuals of the solar PV system.

– Functional testing: This is the phase where the solar PV system is tested for its functionality and performance. It includes verifying the electrical connections, grounding, polarity, voltage, current, power and energy output of the solar PV system.

– Documentation: This is the phase where the results and records of the commissioning process are documented and reported. It includes preparing and submitting a commissioning report that summarizes the findings and recommendations of the commissioning process.

At AQ Electric our team is made up of qualified personnel with extensive experience in photovoltaic projects. An experience gained by working in different continents, with different technologies over the years. We have adapted to the evolution of the sector to continue providing a quality service.

Solar commissioning is a vital part of any solar PV project. It helps to ensure that the solar PV system is installed correctly and operates as intended, our commissioning work is fundamentally framed within the framework of the IEC 62446 standard.
In such a way that we guarantee that the requirements for the correct operation and performance of the installations that make up the PV plant are met.
